Rebelact has been invited by the artists Iratxe Jaio and Klaas van Gorkum, in the framework of their project 'Blijf binnen. Sluit ramen en deuren'. In this project, they will stay for a few months inside a high-rise flat in Overvecht, and organise certain activities that take the zombie horrorfilm genre as a reference to address, both critically and playfully, the relationship between fear and public space in Overvecht.
One of their goals is to work together with residents on a remake of certain scenes from the famous movie by George R. Romero, 'Dawn of the Dead', in which the last survivors of an outbreak of zombies hide in an abandoned shopping mall.
