The writer María Bastarós together with harriet c. brown introduce us to lumbung cosmologies through interviews and readings around the lumbung stories book. In this episode you can listen to the conversation between María Bastarós and the author Cristina Judar and the reading by the latter of the first 300 words of their story in its original language. Cristina Judar was born in São Paulo, is a writer and journalist, author of the novel The women who marched under the sun (2021), just sold to Arabic and Mozambique, and Oito do sete, winner of Prêmio São Paulo de Literatura 2018 and shortlisted for Prêmio Jabuti 2018. She is also the author of Roteiros de uma vida curta, the graphic novels Lina and Vermelho, vivo and the art project ‘Questions for a live writing’ conceived during an artist residency at Queen Mary University of London. Her short stories had been translated and published in the US, UK and Egypt.

Harriet Brown fue el nombre que la actriz sueca Greta Garbo eligió para abandonar el mundo del cine y recluirse en su apartamento de Nueva York en los años cuarenta del pasado siglo. Además, Harriet Brown ha dado nombre a activistas por los derechos de las mujeres y activistas antirracistas y también a muchas otras activadoras de comienzos a las que rendimos homenaje. documenta fifteen, ruangrupa y consonni se escriben en minúsculas, así es con harriet c. brown. Usamos este seudónimo como una entidad colectiva formada por la diversidad de cuerpos de consonni y de la parte implicada del equipo artístico de documenta fifteen. Es un ser-en-común, un ser literario. harriet c. brown es un cuerpo lumbung que rescatamos ahora como práctica de comunidad para fabricar presente y convertirlo en un cuerpo textual.
